Key attractions
Snagov – village
situated north of Bucharest. The most notable feature is the lake, in
the center of which is located an island. On this island is a 16th
century monastery which houses the tomb of Vlad the Impaler.
Peles and Pelisor Castles – unique royal residences in Romania.
Bran Castle -national monument and landmark of Romania. Commonly known as “Dracula’s Castle”, it is marketed as the home of the main character in Bram Stoker‘s Dracula, which has led to persistent myths that it was once the home of Vlad Ţepeş, ruler of Wallachia.
Rasnov Citadel - the largest peasant citadel ever built in Southern Europe, its ruins standing on top of a hill near Transylvania.
Poiana Brasov -just 12 km away from Brasov city, in a glade surrounded by coniferous forests, at the foot of the Postavaru
Massif, you will find Romania’s most famous skiing resort, Poiana
Brasov. It is referred to in ski directories all over the world, often
compared to other major resorts like Chamonix, Zakopane or Cortina
D’Ampezzo in terms of natural setting.
Sighisoara - is considered to be the most beautiful medieval town in Central and Eastern Europe – Sighisoara, the birth place of Vlad III Dracula.
Itinerary
Day 1
Meet at the airport. Bucharest sightseeing tour. Traditional
Romanian dinner. After dinner, visit to the Count Dracula Club.
Day 2
Drive to Snagov. Visit the monastery where Vlad the Impaler wea buried. Continue the journey. Arrive in Sinaia – one
of the most important resorts of the country, hosting a beautiful
monastery, two great castles (Peles and Pelisor), a casino and numerous
hotels, villas. Visit Peles and Pelisor castles. Drive toBrasov. Dinner.
Day 3
Drive
to Bran. Visit Dracula’s Castle. Drive to Rasnov. Visit the peasant
citadel. Arrive in Poina Brasov. Lunch. Return toBrasov.
Day 4
Drive
to Sighisoara. Visit the old citadel. Lunch at Dracula’s restaurant.
Drive to Medias. Visit the medieval centre and the fortified church. Way
back to Brasov.
Day 5
Drive to Sibiu. Visit the old centre and the Brukenthal Museum. Romanian traditional lunch. Return to Brasov.
Day 6
Drive to Bucharest. Sightseeing tour.
Day 7
Return to the country of origin.
